Gary Jenkins BackgroundGary has been in the Financial Services industry for nearly 30 years. During that time he has had experience at many levels of insurance, funds management and dealership organisations, having worked with PIS, Timbercorp, Zurich, and Lend Lease in a variety of roles spanning Practice Development, Sales Management and General Management. Gary has spent the last 5 years as an independent Consultant providing Business Coaching to a range of small to medium sized Financial Planning businesses around Australia. Areas of SpecialtyGary’s passion is in the Practice Management and Business Coaching arena. Gary works with practices to help them identify where they really are and set realistic goals of where they want to be. He is very hands-on with the implementation of activities and behaviours within the practice to help achieve those goals. Importantly, he sees his involvement with the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of internal practice disciplines as the key in helping practice principals maintain their momentum. Identifying the critical skill sets of practice principals is, in Gary’s view, an often overlooked but fundamental factor in a business achieving their desired outcomes. Working with the opportunities and limitations that these skill sets create is central to the way Gary works with practice principals. With a wealth of hands-on, practical experience and ideas, Gary has helped many practice principals reinvent their business future and, equally as important, their lifestyles. |

Utilising his intimate knowledge of the issues that face financial planners and the greater industry, Gary also provides consulting Services to Licensees and Institutional Sales teams.
Gary is also an experienced presenter at Conferences and PD Days.
Location
Gary is based in Melbourne, but also travels regularly to service clients around the country.
